Hi everyone,
I think I remember someone saying that there was an IDRS bulletin board somewhere on the web...does anyone have the address? Thanks in advance!

You have to be a member of the IDRS in order to access their boards or mailing lists. The mailing list (IMHO) is great. Very active, and top people participating -- it's the oboe equivalent of the Klarinet list, run from this server. Well worth the 50 bucks or whatever that it costs to join.
The IDRS Bulletin Board is a relatively newer addition to the mix, and they don't seem to have all the kinks worked out yet. A standard feature of the IDRS mailing list these days is messages from folks complaining that the Bulletin Board is, once again, not working right.
But -- to repeat a repetition -- you MUST join the IDRS first, before you can access these features.
Hey, Graham, it's about time you joined, no? Especially since YOUR photo comes up on the first page in a search for "oboist" on Google Images . . .

This forum is actually quite a bit more active that the IDRS "bulletin board", but the IDRS mailing list rivals the flute lists by the activity.
They even throw in a quarterly subscription to the Double Reed Journal (magazine) and you gain access to competition video clips and performance recordings from past IDRS conferences.
Quite worth it.
Regards,
Stephen
