 Retrofitting a left C#

By serendipity, I came across the instrument repair professional Robert Stempfle based in Switzerland.

He has designed a mechanism for retrofitting a left C# key in oboe without such key, which he called F-Cis mechanism. It involves removing the left F key, and installing the new mechanism (a rocker mechanism, with F key to the right and C# to the left). This solution was praised by Heinz Holliger:-

I found an example of such mechanism from FB and attached it here.

I reached out to Robert, but unfortunately he said he no longer rebuild oboe. He referred me to another oboe repair professional in Germany.

Has anyone done such a retrofit work with Robert Stempfle?
