Yes- I would certainly appreciate your assistance in trying to determine some history to this oboe.
It has a good sound- even with a beginner like me.
The seller has said that he would not take more than $500 for it(that's with a Yamaha flute trade-in) but my teacher mentioned it could be worth anywhere from $2500 to $3000.
I certainly don't want to rip the seller off- so to get a fair price would be great.
Certainly appreciate your interest-- by the way- I've played the Horn for 30 some years but dentures prevent this as well as preventing playing the flute.
Oboe is great as (as you know) the lower lip prevents any denture movement.
Being a wind player I'm finding learning the cello(as well as the oboe) quite difficult!! But enjoyable.
