I should imagine, you would not have any issues with that fingering in technical passages. I used to play all my studies using that fingering ( Ferling, Lyon, Bozza etc), and once I learned that fingering and incorporated it into my playing, it rapidly became my favourite and is one thing I sorely miss with my current setup.
