Re: Beethoven's Largo from his lost oboe concerto

Hi there,

As a matter of fact, I have just bought the two CDs of Bart Schneemann's Lebrun Oboe Concertos. I was delighted to find the Largo from Beethoven's oboe concerto at the end of the CD, and I quite agree with it being a rather 'serene' piece.

I believe that some other musicologists are also working on another Oboe concerto by W.A.Mozart; a Concerto in F major. Exciting news.
