If you like Delius, then how about 'La Calinda' (from the opera 'Koanga') as that's an oboe feature with a nice tune in D Major. Here's some examples ranging from fast to slow in tempo, so pick the tempo you like best (from fast to slow):

Also make sure your piccolo player is up to it too!

The actual piece in the opera has a soprano voice and banjo part which is rarely heard outside that setting in its stand-alone orchestral version - the oboe line has taken on the role as a counter melody to the soprano in the original opera version:
