I've been using a Rigotti double hollow-ground for years*. That might be closer to the Landwell and it is half the price. The squared handle is comfortable and it doesn't roll about on your reed-desk (like the landwell does, annoyingly)
The picture on this page (scroll down) shows a bunch of knives including both the landwell and the rigotti, so you can compare.
* (I've never found it habit-forming)
