Yes, I bought a Loree! A used AK... so I'm just checking the serial number for curiosity's sake - NE37 - would be what year? Trying to find online but have not had success.... Thanks!

Ok, so I think I found some info after digging some more - it's a 1997 version - another question.. will "AK" be stamped on it if it's an AK bore?? And waht really is the difference in the bore between AK and standard?

Congratulations on your new oboe. It may be a bit younger than you think. I purchased a new Loree with an ND serial number in the spring of 1999.

You can email directly to Loree and they will tell you the date of manufacture. They are responsive to deal with.
