I just discovered that the tenon on the upper joint of my Yamaha 441 is cracked! The crack extends from the end of the tenon down under the cork, shuck is also split. I don't see anything past the shoulder of the tenon. How bad is this? I would imagine it could be repaired by banding under the cork. Any advice?
