I noticed today that my low C wasn't speaking well and was due to a lack of one of the keys being depressed all the way down when the key was pressed. I turned it about a quarter of a turn and it fixed the problem. When I went back to playing, half-hole D, D flat, and E flat were hard to speak. It felt "resistant" trying to get the note to speak. I've tried turning the screw back in the opposite direction where it was before with no difference.
What is the average price for getting an oboe adjusted by a local music store? What about for getting all the pads replaced?
