I had a brilliant flexible LED light that I got from Meijer when I was in the US for about $25. I would have brought it home with me if the power was the same...I miss it! The equivalent here is about $90.
I am just using an LED globe in a standard desk lamp at the moment. Does the job. I am also a papercrafter, and they often advertise a light by the name of Ottlite in the magazine I read, which is supposed to be the closest thing to natural bright light and the best for seeing accurate detail. I have considered getting one for reedmaking alone.
