<Linode.com> had a major outage last night, and the db server hardware did not come back. They migrated the server to another hardware system and we're back online.
Considering the 1000s of affected machines, the people at <Linode.com> were very professional and responsive to my support ticket (I was one of the customers whose system didn't recover ... the webserver recovered, but the database server didn't). If you need a server and know how to administer it, I can highly recommend them - service under fire is a good test of their depth and knowledge.
