 Harold Gomberg's Oboes
Author: JeffreyMReinhardt

Hello all,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what oboes specifically Harold Gomberg played on throughout his life.

I know he played on Gordets early on. I know he played on Laubins during the 50s. And I know he switched to B-series Lorees sometime in the 60s and remained on them until his death.

Can anyone tell me which Laubin oboes he played on, when the change from Laubin to Loree occured, and which serials within the B-series he played on or preferred?

I know these are very specific questions, but hopefully someone can help!
