Want info on my oboe

Author: PatchMomma  Date:   2013-09-17 17:14 Hey all, new to the boards! I've been playing since high school and took a lapse for quite some time. Anyway, I'm picking the old girl back up again and was wondering if anyone had any information on how to find out more about your oboe? Mine has "made in germany" stamped on the bell and matching serial numbers on each piece. But no other identifying marks I can find. She needs some work but I'm hoping to get her back in shape soon.
