Hi Howard,
Bernardini is making his own copies, I thought he mainly plays Stanesby copies. At least on his vivaldi CDs I have. I do not know what Paul Goodwin plays.
Since one year i have a baroque oboe, some pieces are much easier to play than others, e.g. The Marcello concerto in d is quite easy, I find Handel concerts and sonatas among the more difficult pieces, some are in a key with many b-flat a-flat combinations. Watermusic on the other hand is not too hard.
B.t.w. I play a copy of a Engelbert Terton (Amsterdam)
