Hi all,
I just received my used Stanesby baroque oboe, by vas Dias.a a=415
It's connecting ends is made wood with string wrapped around it. but I'm concerned that I will need more of a lubricant, it seems like I'm using a little too much pressure putting the pieces together.
What can folks suggest I use for a lubricant for this model?
Also, I've been trying to contact the makers, but I am having trouble finding them on the internet.
I did read the Nora Post article on line with Harry vas Dias, but the address looks residential.
do they have a website, phone number I can reach them?
