 Best Time of Year to Make Reeds

I have observed that the fall and spring seem to be the best times of the year to make great reeds. Actually, I find I used my spring reeds throughout the summer and my fall reeds throughout the winter.

For some reason summer and winter is not as productive. I live in the New York Metro area.

Summer reeds are a pain the *******!@
