This does sound like a really, first-class group. Could you tell us where you are in the picture? Certain passages in this work remind me of one of the pieces on the famous, old Mercury recording of the Eastman-Rochester Orchestra featuring modern American composers. I think the piece was Savannah River Holiday by Ron Nelson, but if not that one, then one of the others on that disc. I'll listen some more and see if I can locate you! Regards.
