 Theme tune

This morning I was watching an old episode of - don't be shocked - Martha Stewart. At the beginning of each segment, a beautiful little tune is played on what I believe to be the oboe. If anyone out there has heard it, do you know if it is a segment from an actual piece of music or just a "jingle?" Kelly
