 Yamaha Oboes

Hey all... I mentioned in another post that I'm in the process of looking for a new oboe, and that I'm most likely going to be buying a new Yamaha YOB841 Custom oboe. Does anyone else out there play one? Do you like playing it? I've had some feedback from different people I know, but I would like to get your opinions too. If there is anything I should watch out for etc.
Also, is it true that Yamaha's are more likely to crack then other makes? I've been told thats true, but I've also been told that if you take good care of your oboe, it will never crack. Can anyone shed some light on that?
