Thank you Emmanuel for your reply. It is partly because of your youtube videos that I want to try the Frank oboes. I also thank you for replying to my post on youtube. Many people would not necessarily take the time to do that. Are you sure I can't convince you to make me some reeds? Anyhow, I'll be sure to check out your blog on reedmaking. Actually, I kind of wonder if my American scrape reeds would work well on Frank oboes. I wonder if that's why Loree and Laubin are so popular in the U.S. because the American scrape works well with those oboes. Not sure, but may have something to do with it. I think there will be some Frank oboes at the IDRS convention this year so I will try to make it. It's actually not too far from me this year.
