I've not listened yet either, but can testify that music got my brain back. I had/have an illness that messes up my whole nervous system, and the docs didn't know how to 'rehab' me, so I said I'd just go back to symphony and see how that went.

Although I initially was really bad at key signatures and every rehearsal felt like sight-reading, the structure and tracking REALLY helped and now I can think, write, and speak in complete sentences.

I also respond really well to other 'energy'-related therapies, i.e. electro-magnetic and light stuff, so 'music as therapy' is really no surprise.

It's GREAT to have 'scientific proof' though, to share with those skeptical folks...
