I asked the seller where they are and if I could visit them to try it out and they're having none of it. This is what they said:
"What?? I'm not a warehouse here where you can visit. Again, it's in excellent condition, mint. I'm offering 30 days warranty or money back if not satisfied."
Isn't it customary to try before you buy? I always thought so, especially with something like this. For a seller not even willing to deal with a buyer in person speaks volumes.
