The donation drive is going very slowly forward ...
I have gone back to accepting credit cards directly via the secure page - too many people were having issues with Google payments (as did I) and many don't want to use PayPal. PayPal is still accepted if you wish.
Still we're 64 donations short of goal ... so let's finish off this "begging" period right away!

I dunno. It's a no-brainer for me. It may be that if you don't already have a PP account, the hassle factor of setting it up is too much?

I think PP might charge a commission for collecting the payments/donations. As probably all payment services do. PP maybe on the high side for small vendors. Not sure about this, it is just conjecture on my part. Call it an educated guess.

A lot of people do not really want to give so much information to a third party just to be able to make a small payment. Just a hassle.

I guess it comes down to who you trust: the third party or the vendor.
I still like the old fashioned 'sending-in-a-check-by-snail-mail', but I am hopeless out of date.
