Ahhh sheeezzzz,
Sounds like the 2 Lorees I played years ago.
I hope others will give you good advice (I want it too!): apparently the bocal is a big deal if you can try/get other ones.
Reeds... must be just as true as for the oboe... for my part, I never once made a good E.H. reed. Oboe and d'amore, no problem, but E.H. seems different.
