Hi everyone,

I am curious to find out more information on the Marigaux 930 EH's. If you have played these horns can you share your opinion? I am eager to find out what people think of these horns. Thank you.

I bought one back in 1998 as I found it the least resistant and most 'vocal' of the other cors I tried at the same time. Very dependable instrument and I wouldn't change it for anything.

One thing you may need doing is having the key corks replaced with much tougher material (ie. rubberised cork/gasket cork/tech cork/rubco/gimmi-kork/etc.) as the adjusting screw tips will munch through natural cork very quickly, unless Marigaux have since ditched the ue of natural cork under adjusting screws and switched over to using much harder wearing silencing material.

Former oboe finisher

1998 - 2010

The opinions I express are my own.
