Thanks. I don't know if it is 1950s though, as the lady I purchased it from said she bought it brand new in the late 1970s, but she may have fabricated that. It certainly doesn't look like its from the 1950s though, as there are no chips or dents anywhere, although there is a small bit of tarnishing to the low B key, but thats about it.
If anyone knows if it orginally had its 3rd octave or LH F, that would be useful too, as every other model I have seen of the S2 on 'that website' and second hand in music shops have never had either of those features.
