I am currently borrowing a La Marque oboe from the local college and wondered if anyone here is familiar with them and has information on them. An internet search proved to be almost fruitless in finding out anything further on this brand. I do know that it is wood with silverplate keys, is stamped Italy on the reverse of the lower portion and has a five-digit serial number starting with 12XXX on the reverse bottom of the upper stack. Thanks for any information in advance!
