Hi,
I've been playing the oboe for 4 years since I was 16 years old, but after moving abroad I stopped playing it. Now ten years later I would like to start playing the oboe again. The problem is that I don't have an instrument yet! (The first instrument I used belonged to a music school and the second one belonged to a friend.) I have been looking around and I found two instruments online that I seem to like. They're used instruments but I could go to the owners' home to find out how they sound. One is a Fossati, the other one is a Noblet. Both owners say that their instruments are in good condition and want to sell their instruments for approximately the same price. Could give anyone me some more information about these two brands and tell me which brand would be better and why. Thanks!
