Have you ever seen Alex Klein play Claude Bolling's Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio on the IDRS website videos? It's a cross between jazz and baroque music. The music is available from Music Minus One. You need excellent facility in the upper register since Klein makes very few compromises playing the flute part. You need to be a member to have access to that part of the website.
Also, Andrey Rubtsov's Three Moods for wind quintet:

or Paquito D'Rivera's Aires Tropicales Suite for wind quintet
or the amazing and to me humbling Blues for D.D. written for great Australian oboist Diana Doherty.
