Really make use of the diminuendos in (counting after letter A) bars 4-5, 9-10, 18-19 and 27-28 so the dotted figure sounds like an echo the second time it comes around.
The dynamic markings are only a guide - as it's your solo, make the p more of an mf to be heard through the orchestral texture.
