Mark,

Over cut in the back & I bet it plays easy as all get out. It's happened to me. The heart/plateau may be partially collapsing as well. Try clipping the tip to put some resistance back into it. Worth a try, at least. Some notes will be perfectly in tune but the F# to G interval at the top of the stave may be wildly disparate, the F# may be very sharp & the B to C stave interval may be off. If clipping the tip doesn't work then trash it, save the tube & make a new reed on it.
