I've never had any reeds go mouldy myself and I mainly just use the standard reed cases that came with my instruments plus a custom one I made from a minaiture metal Star Wars lunchbox.
Getting my reeds tie dyed purple? That's another story entirely! (Oh the memories of the Oboe Hut at Brevard....)
