Hi Everyone

if you use the link below, you'll be able to watch Albrecht Mayer playing Oboe D'Amore with a straight bell. This pretty much answers your question. It surely is do-able, and presumably so on the Cor Anglais, too. This is taken from his new cd. The part of the clip I'm referring to is about 4 minutes in.
