I dread to think - oboes are already picky enough with reeds, so I bet these buggers will be a nightmare!
Loree, Marigaux and Patricola are the only companies that I know of that make musettes (but I'm gonna call them 'piccoloboes' from now on!) - the Loree one has slightly simplified keywork to low Bb (but still has the banana key)and is pitched in F, whereas the Marigaux is pitched in Eb (though their site also says in D) and descends to low B and also has simplified keywork (only the LH3 C-D trill key as found on basic thumbplate systems). The Patricola is pitched in Eb and descends to low B, but is otherwise nearly full Gillet conservatoire system minus the side G#-A trill and banana key.
