Thanks for the information.
I agree completely - The name of the game is to control as many vairables as possible for consistent results.
When all the steps along the way are quality ones - then it only takes a few initial scrapes to get a good reed going; and usually the reed is superior from day one.
It saves you lots of time and frustrations.
Yes, it can be an expensive process ...........................! But that is the cost for peace of mind and success.
