As well as the S40c, try out the S45c as that's got the wider diameter joints like the S5 and XL which will give more resistance. Compare them both if you can to see which you prefer, though the S45c is considerably heavier than the S40c.

The S40c and S45c both have the same keywork configuration which is almost everything found on a full Gillet conservatoire (S5/XL) but without the split plate for the D#-E trill.
