I wonder if you all have heard about Joe Robinson leaving the New York Philharmonic? He retires at the end of this season.
That leaves a bunch of big gigs open...probably the most oboe positions is a while. Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and now New York.
Who knew that there were that many principal players ready for retirement!
