If your reed is good (crows in three octaves of C with a modicum of resistance) & your oboe is properly adjusted (critical requirements for playing the oboe), then I suspect you are not supporting enough or are constricting the air column under pressure somewhere. Check out the opening pages in Jay Light's Essays for Oboists. A goodly number of the problems associated with playing the oboe can be attributable to inadequate air support. As Mr. Light states much better in his book than I here: it is air (under pressure) that causes the reed to vibrate, not the embouchure.
