I have a c series oboe that never really had anything done to it other than simple adjustments. I live in NY state and I was told that John Symer and David Teitlebaum would be excellent choices for an overhaul if my instrument needed one. However, I was just at the Weber site and I noticed he had several used bells for sale that I was interested in trying. I also was told that he (Weber) has a c series oboe and that he's proficient at overhauls and bore adjustments and would try the bells on my horn and make suggestions. He's way out in Arizona though. I was wondering if anyone has used him and how proficient he is.
