Using the process of elimination what has changed:
1. New reed???
2. New Instrument (or newly adjusted instrument)?

If neither has changed it is either the reed maybe going dead--- reeds don't last forever and the playing characteristics drop off sometimes quickly.

Try the reed on some other instrument to isolate the problem if possible.

The only time an instrument might make such a change would be if you have a serious crack in the instrument or the pads either are leaking on the stack or someone didn't use the proper clearances when they installed some pads.

If this problem happened overnight it also might be operator error.

If you are using a new reed it could be the staple is longer (the cork part of the reed.) If the reed is not playing to pitch the whole instrument can go either sharp or flat easily. The tone and intonation generated by the reed has to be right on. Both factors are created by cut-of-the-reed, length of staple as well as lip pressure of the operator.
