Expect a continental climate, temperate zone summer. You can expect temperatures in the mid-70s to mid-80s F, with humidity levels around 50% to 70%. A spell of muggy weather may make it hotter and more humid, but overall the only one to suffer in that will be the oboist, not the oboe or the reeds.

You shouldn't notice much difference with either your reeds or your instrument overall, except that if a big weather front comes through, dropping the temperatures and the humidity like a stone, you may have a "bad reed day" in the newly crisp and pleasant air, caused by the reed's suddenly losing all its nice humidity. There's not much you can do about it, except wait for the weather to change, which it will, in about 12 hours. I find that switching to a softer reed helps. Sometimes. At least it gives me something constructive to do while I'm waiting.

However, the one big factor to watch out for is air conditioning. Some venues keep the A/C really cranked up, which means the oboist will be freezing, and the Loree will crack. Take a sweater along to any indoor venues, and keep your top joint tucked safely in your armpit until you find out what the ambient temperature is going to be.
