My wife has purchased Holly Gornik's "Gabriel's Oboe" CD and is enamored with the pieces on it. We have surfed the major publishers for the music (oboe) with little success. She would like pieces in the intermediate/advanced level. First preference is oboe with piano accompaniment. Second, is oboe solo. Pieces are the following:
Theme from Sophie’s Choice Martin Hamlisch
Theme from Titanic “My Heart Will Go On” James Horner
Theme from Schindler’s List John Williams
Theme Tea With Mussolini Alesso Vlad & Stefano Aranaldi
Also please add
Summertime (Porgy & Bess) G. Gershwin
Would appreciate any suggestions of sources.
