This site has some interesting reading on caring for an oboe--although I have been using a feather to clear the moisture and do bore oiling for 40 years with no problem, site below wants you to use a swab.

Site below has interesting observations on the oboe business today although the site is "pushing" their brand of oboe.

Site below is a used Cabart oboe however I cannot tell if it is the three octave key Artist model I have had for 40 years. It might be really worn out with the $600 price tag. Carbart is now owned by Loree and the current line of 3 octave key instruments are rated highly (at least the opinion of a German site I visited today---(I had to also go to a translation site to have the german put into english language).
