 Yet Another Selmer Query

I have a Series 10 that I purchased in '71 when my old Centered Tone was stolen, serial number U94XX. It is clearly marked "Series 10" but, according to the information on www.saxmaniax.com, the 10's were first introduced in '71 with the W5900 series, and the U Series doesn't include 9400's. Both the barrel and the bell have a "B" stamped under the Selmer logo. Any information would be appreciated.
