 No. 34 from Rose's 40 Studies
Author: moolatte
Date:   2026-11-05 09:54

In Artistic Studies, Book 1, No. 34 indicates the original composer of the study is Hubert Ries.

When I try scouting all of his publications on IMSLP, however, I don't see anything under his name that remotely resembles the content of #34.

I'm aware that many of the studies and etudes may have some modifications, sections added or removed, and so on, but I can't seem to find where this one study originates from.

Does anyone know what #34 is inspired by or borrowed from? Is it actually attributed to another composer?
