Attachment: Mystery composer study.pdf (53k)
Kia ora,
In about 1994 I bought a book of clarinet studies from "The music rack" in San Francisco, I don't remember the name of the composer but recall it was a Spanish name (could be wrong). The book ended up with Dave Etheridge at OU, and probably among the repertoire gifted away upon his passing in 2010. Over the years I've used my favourite study from that book, and had a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy that was of poor quality, so I entered it into Sibelius (and also edited it slightly to use with saxophone students).
I really have no idea WHO wrote it, and would prefer to have this information rather than describe it as "unknown" etc
I'll attach a pdf of the piece, if anyone know who/where it's from I'd be much obliged! Also, feel free to use it if you'd like to.
(whoops, I've just noticed the glitch in bar 36, will fix that up. Also, this is a great study to use with bass clarinet)
