Does anyone have the measures of this metric screw, including length, diameter and thread count?
(It's my understanding that thread count in metric is reported in "pitch.")
Buffet seems to make two versions in non-metal, (page 16) https://tinyurl.com/59m47twn with 7.1mm and 8.2mm in length and, for example, WindPlus has these offerings https://tinyurl.com/yc84ne6f in different lengths and materials.
Here, Miles (Castro) seems to sell only the shorter version https://tinyurl.com/ybeeetks.
Anyone have suggestions on which length to get and why two lengths seem to be available.
TIA

I tend to replace them with a Howarth oboe adjusting screw which is a 7mm stainless steel one - M2x0.4 thread with a 2.4mm diameter head.

I'd get the longer ones.
It's easy to shorten a plastic/nylon screw.
