HI all, I've always enjoyed doing business with Muncy Winds, but I'd understood they were more or less wiped out by the flooding. There was an update here on the site in October of 2024, but I'm wondering if anyone's heard anything since then. Kristin Bertrand seems to be selling some of their inventory for them, but if anyone's got an update on Phil and Pam and their rebuilding progress, I'd love to know about it. Thanks.

While there hasn't been a major public announcement since the late 2024 update, Phil and Pam remain focused on a slow, steady recovery, with Kristin Bertrand (Woodwind Workshop) continuing to handle most of their remaining professional inventory and specialized clarinet sales.
The Muncys have largely stepped back from large-scale retail operations to focus on the monumental task of rebuilding their property and life after the devastating flooding. For specific inquiries or to send well wishes, most colleagues in the clarinet community still reach out via their existing email or through Kristin's shop for instrument-related matters.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your update and had not realized quite how bad they were hit during the flooding. I certainly miss their presence; rebuilding after that much damage certainly brings up a host of issues not merely confined to business decisions. I look forward to having them back among us in the community. Again, thanks.
