 A. Segal barrel identification
Author: m1964

hello,
I got a barrel marked "A. Segal", shaped similarly to Backun Fatboy barrel.
It has "66" engraved sideways on top (the barrel is actually about 65.6mm long) and also has "91 / 80", engraved closer to the bottom.
Does anyone know what the "91 / 80" means?

Thanks

I’m not sure if he might still be around here to answer definitively.
I would speculate it might be referring to the bore diameter at the top and bottom, being a shorter version of .591ā€ - .580ā€, which would be a reverse taper generally of some variety.

I'll send you his email address and you can ask him. He was originally a cardiovascular surgeon!
